Job Description
Our client is seeking a Salesforce Release Engineer to support their acquisiton integration work.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Execute and manage Salesforce deployments within defined release windows (typically 1–2 times per month), following team-provided run lists
Identify and resolve deployment conflicts, coordinate with engineering teams, and determine best-path resolutions during production deployments
Backfill deployment environments post-production release to maintain environment parity
Build, maintain, and repair CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
Contribute to custom Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, integrations) during non-release periods
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across time zones
Support enterprise pipeline deployments using multiple deployment strategies

Required Skills & Experience
3–5+ years of experience in DevOps or Release Engineering, preferably within Salesforce-focused environments
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX), Metadata API, and unlocked/package-based deployments
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture, automation, and maintenance
Apex development experience (triggers, classes, batch jobs)
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
SOQL and SOOSL query writing
REST API integrations and Apex callouts
Java (foundational requirement for both Apex and broader development work)
Custom development experience (not low-code/no-code)
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment conflicts in real time
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Proficiency with OneDeploy and enterprise deployment pipelines
Expeirence using monitoring/logging tools such as Splun
Scripting and Automation Experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell scripting, or any additional scripting languages used within CI/CD or automation contexts)
