Job Description
Insight Global’s client is a field-based environmental services organization supporting gas and liquids control systems at active sites. This is a hands-on, outdoor role combining system maintenance, monitoring, and light construction work. Daily travel to project sites is required throughout Bay Area, CA to various landfill/construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
-Travel daily to assigned project sites; occasional extended or regional travel
-Support operation, maintenance, repair, and construction of Gas Collection & Control Systems (GCCS)
-Perform HDPE pipe repairs, well modifications, and related construction activities
-Monitor and maintain liquids conveyance and extraction systems (pneumatic pumps, airlines, force mains)
-Troubleshoot gas and liquids system issues and assist with corrective maintenance
-Complete monitoring activities and maintain accurate field logs via mobile app
-Respond to GCCS call‑out devices on a rotating basis (nights, weekends, holidays)
-Maintain company‑provided tools and equipment

Required Skills & Experience
-High School Diploma + 1 year hands‑on work experience
-Valid driver’s license; ability to travel daily to sites
-Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and on uneven/sloped terrain
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (intermittent)
-Mechanical aptitude; able to work independently and follow safety protocols
-Basic computer/mobile app proficiency
-Ability to pass physical and drug screening
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-HDPE pipe fusion or repair experience
-Experience with GCCS, utilities, environmental, or industrial systems
-Construction or site equipment exposure
-HAZWOPER or OSHA safety training (or willingness to obtain)
-Military/veteran background
