Job Description
The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads a team of service technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. This role supports the Operations Maintenance team by solving complex technical problems, managing projects, and driving preventative maintenance programs. The technician also plays a key role in training and mentoring junior and contract technicians while promoting a strong safety culture across the facility.

Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience working with material handling equipment (MHE), including automated conveyors and controls
• 4+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance
• 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics
• 3+ years of experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• 2+ years of experience working with PLC programs
• Experience in a team lead or senior technician role, supporting, training, and mentoring less experienced technicians
• Prior vendor management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts
Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and working in a warehouse environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Associate’s degree or higher from a vocational school or college, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
Experience with robotics operation and maintenance
