Our client is seeking a proactive, high energy, take ownership Tax Manager to be a key member of the client’s tax function, reporting to the Head of Tax. This is an exciting opportunity to support a rapidly growing consumer electronics client within a dynamic, fast paced environment. We are looking for a driven individual who can manage multiple priorities, operate independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a broader cross functional team.
As the client continues to grow and expand globally, the ideal candidate will bring strong global tax experience and be comfortable working directly with a wide range of business teams to develop and support comprehensive tax solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the client’s business model and the ability to assess how both direct and indirect tax considerations impact business decisions.
The Tax Manager will work closely with members of the global tax organization to communicate current and future business plans, obtain cross functional tax input, and ensure coordinated tax solutions across the organization. This individual will be deeply embedded within the business, supporting current and future product offerings, providing guidance on day to day tax questions, and managing competing deadlines across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with and provide tax guidance to various client organizations, including Business Development, Finance, Legal, Accounting, and product teams
• Support the operationalization of tax strategies and evolving end to end tax requirements
• Participate in tax projects across the full lifecycle, including planning, research, modeling, and communication of tax implications to leadership and broader management
• Collaborate with broader tax teams, including reporting and compliance, transfer pricing, indirect tax, and tax provision
• Develop and maintain knowledge of ongoing global tax and OECD policy developments
• Monitor and assess industry tax positions relevant to a global consumer electronics business
• Draft technical and non technical tax research and compliance memoranda, including detailed tax guidance and requirements
• Manage both in house and external tax planning and compliance providers related to direct and indirect tax deliverables
• Review and analyze tax requirements to support evolving business plans and a changing regulatory landscape
• Develop scalable, repeatable operational processes to support tax compliance and reporting
• This role will also support indirect tax compliance for an additional consumer electronics business, including activities such as report preparation, audit support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years experience as a Tax Manager
Domestic and International tax requirement background
Direct and Indirect Tax Background
Understand sales and use tax in US, Canada and rest of world.
Comfortable pulling from avalera net suite - reporting. Ring Experience working with audit tax teams - indirect tax audits, pull reports, reconcile data.
