Job Description
Optum State Government Solutions is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to support a major Business Intelligence (BI) transformation initiative. The role will focus on quality assurance for large-scale data and reporting platforms as the client migrates from SAP Business Objects to Microsoft BI tools. This position will work closely with an established Agile team and play a key role in validating data accuracy, report functionality, and overall solution quality.
Day to Day/Responsibilities:
- Perform QA Testing on large-scale data environments primarily using Teradata
- Analyze and validate BI reports and dashboards across SAP Business Objects to Microsoft BI tools
- Ensure accurate reporting between legacy and new system
- Analyze existing Business Objects BI reports to compare current-state functionality with future-state Microsoft BI solutions
- Execute SQL queries to validate source data, transformations, and reporting outputs
- Maintain detailed QA documentation including test plans, test cases, test results, and defect documentation
Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of QA experience working with large-scale data preferably in Teradata but Oracle or SQL acceptable
- 2+ years of experience supporting Business Objects and Microsoft BI tools (Cognos, Tableau, Power BI etc.)
- 1+ years working in a fast paced Agile environment
- Understanding of SQL queries for validation and analysis
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
Medicare/Medicaid/Medi-Cal healthcare data experience or related Healthcare industry experience
