Job Description
The Workday Cutover Lead is a senior‑level expert responsible for orchestrating a highly complex, enterprise cutover from Oracle HCM to Workday HCM, including Payroll, Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Absence Management. This role owns the end‑to‑end cutover strategy, execution, and governance for a year‑end transition, managing a parallel “dual‑system” period where Oracle and Workday run concurrently. The engagement requires a meticulous, hands‑on leader who has successfully executed multiple Workday cutovers in large, global environments, including mid-year or year‑end payroll scenarios, multi‑system integrations, and audit‑sensitive transitions.

Required Skills & Experience
Very senior Workday Cutover Lead with experience leading Oracle to Workday HCM transitions
Must have proven execution of at least one full end‑to‑end Oracle to Workday cutover cycle
Experience managing multiple cutovers or phased deployments with any other similar systems
Deep experience with Workday Payroll, including parallel payroll, year‑end processing, and gross‑to‑net validation
Experience managing dual‑system environments (Oracle and Workday running concurrently)
Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules: Payroll, Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Absence
Experience coordinating multiple integrations and downstream systems during cutover
Background supporting large, global organizations of at least 50,000+ employees with high complexity
Extremely detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in high‑pressure environments
Excellent communication skills and not hesitant to lead discussions, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with integrations involving talent systems (Oracle Recruiting/Lighthouse, iCIMS‑adjacent tools, Schoox)
Experience leading cutovers with 9+ time systems or similarly complex environments
Ideally based in Southern California or ability to travel as needed
