Job Description

Own the end-to-end sales cycle within target market sectors — from opportunity identification through close — consistently meeting or exceeding agreed revenue targets.
Partner closely with the Business Unit Leader (BUL) to define growth strategy, target markets, and account prioritization.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities, leveraging creativity and market insight.
Lead market mapping and opportunity identification, including expansion within existing markets and development of new ones.
Drive all RFI/RFP activity, including win strategy development, solution design, pricing, and internal approvals.
Own the quality and effectiveness of sales deliverables, including proposals, executive summaries, presentations, and client-facing materials.
Coordinate cross-functional contributors (SMEs, supply partners, operations, and sales support) to deliver compelling, differentiated solutions.
Plan and lead client meetings, site visits, presentations, and workshops.
Support rebids, contract variations, and extensions for existing clients.
Maintain accurate and timely pipeline reporting, Salesforce updates, and governance sign-offs.
Represent the business at industry events, networking functions, and client forums to build brand presence and market visibility.
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market innovations to inform sales strategy.
Act as a leader within the sales function, supporting onboarding, development, and continuous improvement of sales processes.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years proven sales and business development experience in a relevant industry or services-led environment.
Track record of successfully closing complex, solution-based sales.
Strong experience owning RFI/RFP processes, including win strategy, solutioning, and pricing.
Ability to clearly articulate value, differentiation, and client-focused solutions at executive level.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, delegate, and drive deadlines across multiple contributors.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and accountability in managing pipeline activity and governance processes.
Confident presenter with experience delivering high-impact client presentations and workshops.
Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; SharePoint preferred).
Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient — comfortable working under pressure and tight timelines.
Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours when required.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background or strong working knowledge of Facilities Management or Integrated Facilities Management (IFM).
Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
Experience leading or mentoring sales coordination or bid support teams.
Demonstrated ability to improve sales processes, governance, or bid quality over time.
Established industry network and experience representing an organization externally.
Strong commercial acumen with experience navigating pricing approvals and governance frameworks in large or matrixed organizations.
