Job Description
Insight Global is looking to add a DevOps Engineer to our client's team in Latin America. This person will support and scale production infrastructure as the company expands its product offerings across the Americas. This role sits on a small LATAM-based DevOps team (one peer and a manager) and serves as the DevOps point person for a specific development pod. You’ll join sprint planning, partner closely with application engineers, and help ensure reliable delivery and infrastructure support.
The environment runs multiple applications on AWS with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes (EKS). Current clusters span -50 nodes and support several large applications, with plans for continued growth and architectural evolution. Most work focuses on operating, supporting, and improving these Kubernetes environments using infrastructure-as-code.
Terraform is core to the role. The team is moving toward a fully code-driven DevOps model, and this engineer will help push and maintain that standard. On-call responsibility is light (about one week per month), with most after-hours issues handled first by offshore teams and escalated only if needed. Working hours are flexible, with occasional early meetings.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically EKS
Solid production experience with Terraform
CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent)
Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals
Experience supporting applications deployed in AWS (deep architecture design not required)
Developer or developer‑minded background, comfortable working closely with engineering teams
Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting issues
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience participating in sprint planning and operating in an agile, pod-based model
Experience with New Relic
