Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Retail Analyst for a fuel customer to support retail operations by auditing daily financial and operational paperwork for convenience store locations. The Retail Analyst’s primary responsibility is to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies across daily store activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance across approximately 17 gas station locations.
Audit and review daily store documentation and reports for assigned convenience store locations, covering:
Cash reconciliation
Lottery sales and settlements
Daily sales activity
Credit card transactions
Fuel sales
Merchandise sales and inventory variances
Identify discrepancies, shortages, overages, and irregular trends across store‑level reports.
Investigate variances by reviewing supporting documentation and collaborating with store managers, retail operations, and internal teams.
Produce recurring summary reports highlighting discrepancies, trends, and risk areas across assigned stores.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience auditing/reconciling data in an accounting/finance environment
Strong Experience with an ERP System
Proficiency in Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience within the retail industry
Experience within the gas/fuel industry
