Job Description

This Account Manager position will primarily function as a Hospital Liaison and Account Manager, focusing on developing and maintaining strong relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare providers. The role includes high-volume field activity, with an expectation of up to 10 marketing visits per day once the new structure is fully implemented.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
• Work within a continuously evolving referral process and sales structure, adapting quickly to workflow changes and new organizational strategies.
• Serve as a primary Hospital Liaison, building and maintaining relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, and medical staff.
• Function as an Account Manager, managing assigned referral sources and strengthening long-term partnerships.
• Conduct high-volume field marketing, targeting up to 10 in-person visits per day once operational structure is finalized.
• Work with the team to respond and generate new sales leads through various channels, including referral platforms and networking.
• Promptly respond to case managers, ensuring all communications are completed within SLA timeframes.
• Identify and establish key points of contact within hospitals and clinics, including researching and initiating new relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls and follow-up communications to prospects and existing clients to promote AlphaCare Home Health services.
• Regularly report on sales activities, lead generation, and performance metrics to Marketing and Operations teams.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company growth goals and market trends.
• Drive census growth through both external outreach and internal collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for new service lines or niche markets based on referral patterns and market needs.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date account records, including contact history and referral trends.
• Partner with Community Liaisons as needed to conduct joint sales calls and strengthen relationships.
• Coordinate and conduct in-services with new and existing referral sources.
• Maintain consistent outreach to physicians and healthcare representatives.
• Participate in agency planning and execute growth initiatives.
• Work closely with the Intake team to ensure a seamless referral and admission process.
• Engage with re-hospitalized patients and case management teams to support continuity of care and identify new opportunities.
• Represent the company at community events to promote services and strengthen community relationships.
• Travel extensively to hospitals, clinics, and referral sources as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support company growth and operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of experience in healthcare marketing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-starter and proactive.
• Familiarity with Kinnser Wellsky, CarePort, Aida, and faxes.
• Valid CA Driver's License.
High School diploma required; College education preferred.
