Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Business Architect to support a large technology client. You will operate as the end-to-end Component Supply Chain Business Architect, partnering daily with supply chain leaders, domain architects, analysts, and IT to translate business strategy into executable solutions. Lead cross-domain discussions spanning planning, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, logistics, and systems to ensure solutions work holistically across the full Plan–Make–Source–Deliver–Fulfill lifecycle. Synthesize inputs from multiple domains into integrated transformation roadmaps, guide solution design with IT (primarily Oracle-based), support PI and portfolio planning, and help define scope, constraints, and success metrics. Engage regularly in operational, project, and architecture forums to resolve cross-functional gaps, bring manufacturing partners into B2B and digital workflows, and continuously optimize processes, data flows, and system architecture with minimal technical debt
A salary expectation is $175K annually

Required Skills & Experience

End-to-End Supply Chain Expertise across at least 3 domains: Planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Order Management, Inventory Management, Fulfillment, Logistics, Quality

Proven ability to run operations end to end, from planning through warehouse and fulfillment
15+ years of semiconductor supply chain experience, including silicon and optical component manufacturing
Hands-on experience with Foundries and OSATs (nice to have: EMS and 3PL partners such as Foxconn/Flex)
Deep understanding of semiconductor and optical BOM structures, including wafer-to-multi-product flows

Experience working across Plan–Make–Source–Deliver–Fulfill–Quality operating models
5+ years leading business architecture or large-scale transformation programs, including ERP implementations, acquisitions, and integrations
Strong capability in business capability modeling, end-to-end process design, optimization, automation, and RACI definition
Proven leadership of enterprise systems implementations and integrations

Strong working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP (SAP acceptable alternative)
Experience partnering with IT on solution architecture, integrations, PI planning, constraints, and end-to-end system design
Ability to optimize systems with minimal technical debt
Experience leveraging data and advanced analytics for decision-making and performance optimization
Familiarity with Six Sigma methods for process improvement (certification not required)
Strong expertise in quality management, ISO auditing, and supply-based planning

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in matrixed, fast-paced environments with frequent context switching
Background in semiconductor manufacturing
