Job Description

A mortgage company is seeking a Final Docs Coordinator to join their team! The Final Docs Coordinator supports the mortgage operations team by handling incoming and outgoing loan documents after closing. This is an entry‑level, production‑based role focused on mail processing, document identification, and shipping. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working with physical documents and basic systems.

Key Responsibilities

Open and sort incoming FedEx and mail packages containing final mortgage documents
Review document packages to identify required final documents
Access Encompass to determine the correct investor or bank for each file
Organize, label, and prepare document packages for outbound shipping
Re‑ship documents to the appropriate bank or investor using FedEx or other carriers
Track shipped files and ensure documents are sent accurately and on time
Maintain basic logs or checklists to confirm document completion
Follow established procedures to ensure documents are handled securely and correctly

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of experience working in an office environment
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, repetitive role
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Basic computer skills (data lookups, simple navigation in systems)
