Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Product Manager to lead and coordinate multiple initiatives focused on computer vision and vision-language models (VLMs) used for inspection programs. This role will work across IT, Operations, and Wildfire Mitigation teams to align vision model efforts, evaluate external vendors, and drive a unified product strategy that clearly demonstrates business value.
The Product Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a roadmap that aligns stakeholders at different stages of model development, while helping technical teams identify gaps and opportunities. This individual will play a key role in shaping a long-term internal platform where multiple vision models can live, integrate, and scale across the enterprise.
Duration: Through the end of 2026, with strong likelihood of extension based on demonstrated long-term value.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and drive the product strategy for computer vision and inspection-related vision model initiatives
• Coordinate and prioritize work across multiple business lines, IT, Operations, and Wildfire Mitigation teams
• Understand stakeholder needs and where each group is in the model development lifecycle
• Build and manage product roadmaps that align technical development with business value
• Evaluate and coordinate with external vendors supporting vision model solutions
• Translate business objectives into clear product direction and measurable outcomes
• Ensure alignment across teams and maintain visibility into dependencies, gaps, and risks
• Support development of an internal platform that can host multiple vision models and integrate with downstream systems
• Partner closely with program managers and product owners to ensure execution stays on track
• Communicate progress, value, and roadmap updates clearly to business owners and leadership

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience as a Product Manager supporting AI/ML or computer vision initiatives
• Familiarity with Vision Models and/or Vision-Language Models (VLMs)
• Strong strategic thinker with experience prioritizing across cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Sufficient technical depth to influence product strategy and guide technical discussions
• Strong organizational skills with experience building and maintaining roadmaps
• Patient, empathetic, and collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement
Technical Environment
• Vision Models / Computer Vision (ML/AI)
• AWS (required)
• Foundry (exposure preferred; training available)
• Model integration and platform development

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with platform or SaaS product development
• Knowledge of system architecture, APIs, and model/data integrations
• Familiarity with AWS tools and environments (required); experience with Foundry is a plus (can be learned)
• Utility industry experience, particularly related to system inspections and maintenance
