Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Quality Inspector II that will be responsible for performing inspections using prescribed inspection criteria. This role requires a high level of attention to detail to identify any product that does not meet engineering or production standards. In addition to inspection work, the role involves guiding quality-related decisions to continuously elevate quality processes through strong problem-solving and clear communication.
What You’ll Do:
Perform complex electronic and electrical inspections for purchased parts, PCBAs, wire harnesses, electro-mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and assemblies
Follow and create detailed work instructions for receiving inspections, including PCBAs, harnessing, electro-mechanical components/assemblies, and test reports
Document and communicate concerns and non-conformances to engineering, quality, and production teams using internal quality monitoring systems, issue tracking tools, and MES/ERP systems as applicable
Support production readiness for external audits and conduct internal audits, including tracking corrective action items
Maintain calibration tracking and ensure compliance with tool calibration requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience working in quality assurance role in an electronics manufacturing environment
Previous IPC-A-610 Certification
Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620C and/or AC 43.13
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with IPC J-STD-001 with space addendum
