Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper

Core Responsibilities
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
o Invoice processing and payment posting
• Cash management
o Tight cash environment
o Daily cash reconciliation
o Partner with Reed and VP on cash visibility and updates
• Reconciliations
o Bank and cash reconciliations
o Amazon settlement and payout reconciliations
o Inventory and eCommerce platform reconciliations
• General ledger and close
o Journal entries
o Assist with 8 day month end close
o Reconcile eCommerce platforms and inventory reports
• Systems ownership
o Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
o Work with inventory ledger data

• 5+ years accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Prior staff accountant or bookkeeper background
• Comfortable in small teams and wearing multiple hats
• Solid understanding of GAAP based accounting
• Experience supporting fast moving or transitional environments preferred

Pluses (Nice to Have)
• Treasury management
o Cash flow tracking and forecasting
• RAMP or similar AP automation experience
• Strong Amazon eCommerce accounting exposure
• CST time zone preferred
o Chicago based candidates ideal, but not required
