Job Description
A top Oil and Gas company in Richmond, CA, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their Crude Oil Assay and Refinery Support Team (COARS) in Global Laboratory Services. This is a high sample volume laboratory that requires fast turnaround time, ability to multi-task, and communicate clearly. The Crude Oil Assay and Refinery Support Team (COARS) covers various physical property tests, including flow property tests, i.e., viscosity, pour point, cloud point, freeze point, etc., density and filtration tests, some catalyst characterization and thermo-analysis tests, etc.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry, STEM-related, or equivalent OR 2+ years of demonstrated experience in analytical laboratory (in school or professional experience)
Chemistry lab experience (school or industry)
Self-starter, multitasker, and a great attitude
Ability to work in a high volume lab
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Petroleum lab experience
