Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a AI Architect/ Technical Lead to join one of the largest utility companies supporting their AI Accelerator Program. The AI Architect is responsible for end‑to‑end design, assessment, and delivery of Generative AI and AI Agent solutions across the enterprise. This role leads use‑case discovery, feasibility assessment, architecture design, and implementation of AI agents, with a strong focus on business value realization, responsible AI, and scalable cloud-native architectures.
The architect works closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to vet GenAI use cases, define target-state architectures, and build production-grade AI agents leveraging platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Snowflake, and Palantir AIP.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical discovery and solution architecture for selected AI use cases
• Design GenAI solutions using AWS Bedrock, Snowflake, and supporting services
• Define data flows, model interaction patterns, and integration points
• Anticipate security, legal, and risk requirements during governance reviews
• Guide POC development and transition successful pilots to production
• Establish reusable patterns and reference architectures for scale

Required Skills & Experience

• Lead GenAI and AI Agent use‑case discovery, assessment, and prioritization in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
• Evaluate use cases for business value, feasibility, risk, data readiness, and ROI, and recommend go/no‑go decisions.
• Design end‑to‑end architectures for AI agents and GenAI solutions, including RAG, agent orchestration, tool calling, and integrations.
• Build and oversee implementation of production‑grade AI agents using AWS Bedrock, Snowflake, and Palantir AIP.
• Define reference architectures, design standards, and best practices for enterprise GenAI and agentic systems.
• Perform GenAI risk, security, and Responsible AI assessments, defining guardrails and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise data platforms and business systems to enable decision automation and intelligence.
• Establish evaluation, monitoring, and performance metrics for AI agents (accuracy, hallucination risk, latency, cost).
• Local Bay Area availability for in-person collaboration
