Job Description

A large software and networking company is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to work within an Agile environment. This person will support engineering initiatives across security, data, software development, and quality domains. They will coordinate and facilitate cross-team communications, identify and mitigate risks, and leverage AI tools to drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and program management skills to ensure the successful delivery of complex engineering projects aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
•Agile Program Management: Lead and manage engineering programs using Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
•Initiative Tracking, Execution, & Reporting:
Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Rovo) to manage initiative status and execution. Build, maintain, and share dynamic dashboards and reporting to provide real-time visibility to stakeholders.
•Cross-Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration across multiple engineering teams, stakeholders, and business units to drive project success.
•Risk Identification and Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on program timelines and quality.
•AI-Driven Insights & Utilization: Leverage and utilize AI tools for analysis, learning, recommendations, and validation. Synthesize AI-generated data to inform decision-making, optimize workflows, and drive program efficiency.
•Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor and liaison between engineering teams, product management, and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.
•Quality and Compliance: Ensure engineering initiatives meet quality standards, security requirements, and compliance guidelines.
•Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of learning and adaptation by incorporating feedback, retrospectives, and AI-validated recommendations into program processes.

Required Skills & Experience

•5+ years Proven experience managing engineering programs in an Agile environment, preferably supporting security, data, software development, and quality initiatives.
•Atlassian Expertise: Hands-on experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Rovo) to manage execution, track status, and build/share comprehensive dashboards and reports.
•AI Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated capability to leverage and utilize AI tools for data analysis, continuous learning, generating recommendations, and validation.
•Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, LESS, SAFe.
•Background in the Technology sector, ideally within security engineering, DevOps, data management, software development
•Strongly motivated, proactive, and collaborative
•Excellent communication and facilitation skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•Experience with risk management and mitigation in complex engineering projects.
•Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
•Leadership skills to coach teams on processes, drive alignment, and foster innovation.

•Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP
•Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
