- A large Hospital in the southern California area is looking for an Accounting manager to join their team.
The Accounting Manager – Cash Management is a senior operational accounting leader responsible for overseeing all cash activity for the hospital, including daily cash receipts, bank account structure, general ledger cash balances, philanthropy funds, and Epic cash interfaces. This role manages a large accounting team and ensures the accuracy, integrity, and control of complex cash transactions across multiple systems and bank accounts. This individual serves as a subject‑matter expert for cash flow through the organization and plays a critical role in financial controls, audits, and system integrations within a pediatric healthcare environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 Years of experience of Hospital Finance experience.
- Must be someone that is currently in a lead, supervisor, managerial role or is on the cusp pursuing leadership.
- Demonstrated experience with complex cash and bank reconciliation in a high‑volume environment.
- Deep understanding of banking activity, cash controls, and general ledger accounting in a healthcare setting.
Experience with Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- CPA
- ERP System: Peoplesoft or Workday
- Experience with complex cash and bank reconciliation
- Experience in a children’s hospital or academic medical center.
Familiarity with philanthropy/foundation accounting.
