Job Description

We have an opening for an experienced Service Manager for our San Leandro, CA location.

The Service Manager will work with a group of Operations Professionals and Union Field Technicians to efficiently execute planned maintenance, repairs, overhaul, and installations of big commercial projects in an effort to exceed the expectations of our customers and meet revenue and margin targets.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of commercial air conditioning business including but not limited to relationship management, talent development, field operations, and safety.

This role will require the Service Manager to be in the field 40% of the time and 60% of the time in the office.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and/or in the service industry.
- Experience managing field service teams, including technicians, with a focus on performance and efficiency
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including diagnostics, controls, and maintenance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Office, and dispatch tools
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
