Job Description

An Insight Global client is seeking a Procurement & Budget Analyst to support the Marketing organization by managing financial planning, procurement workflows, and operational processes. This role is responsible for developing and monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, conducting cost and variance analyses, and ensuring procurement activities align with organizational policies and financial guidelines. This person will also manage day‑to‑day operational tasks, including reviewing SOW submissions, partnering with requesters on required changes, guiding teams through the PR process, submitting PRs in Oracle, and following up with approvers to keep requests moving. As the primary liaison between Marketing, Sourcing, Procurement, and Finance, you will act as the subject‑matter expert on procurement workflows and operational best practices.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage a high volume of requests, and comfort navigating a fast‑moving, startup‑like environment. You should be proactive, responsive, and able to extract key information quickly while helping teams stay compliant with processes and timelines.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis
• Track and reconcile budgets across Marketing teams, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial plans.
• Perform cost, variance, and trend analyses to support decision‑making and identify optimization opportunities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly budget summaries, spend forecasts, and financial dashboards.
• Analyze vendor spend, contract terms, and category‑level expenditures to support sourcing strategies.
• Support annual and quarterly planning cycles with data, insights, and documentation.
Procurement & Process Management
• Review SOW submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procurement requirements.
• Guide requesters through the PR process and ensure all required documentation is in place.
• Submit PRs in Oracle and follow up with approvers to ensure timely progression.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• Partner with Sourcing on vendor negotiations, renewals, and contract updates.
Operational Support
• Maintain documentation of procurement processes, templates, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Support vendor onboarding, contract tracking, and invoice resolution as needed.
• Assist with process improvements related to budgeting, procurement, and cross‑functional coordination.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Marketing leadership to understand financial needs and upcoming initiatives.
• Serve as the operational bridge between Marketing, Sourcing, Procurement, and Finance.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders to keep processes moving and ensure alignment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, budgeting, financial operations, or a similar role.
• Experience with PR/PO systems
○ Oracle preferred
• Strong financial analysis skills, including cost modeling, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and adapt to new processes.
High attention to detail and ability to synthesize information quickly.
