Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a senior Data & AI Governance professional to lead the development of enterprise roadmaps for data models and AI initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in establishing governance frameworks, standards, and operating models that enable responsible, scalable, and secure use of data and AI across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in AI platforms and models (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Vertex AI, LLaMA, or similar), paired with hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise and a deep understanding of data governance, risk, and compliance in modern cloud environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, AI governance, data architecture, or enterprise data strategy roles
• Demonstrated experience building governance roadmaps for data platforms and AI/ML initiatives
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including data and AI services (e.g., BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud IAM, Data Catalog, or similar)
• Practical exposure to AI/ML or GenAI platforms and models, such as Gemini, Claude, LLaMA, or comparable technologies
• Strong understanding of model governance, including lifecycle management, risk assessment, bias considerations, and monitoring
• Experience working in regulated or highly governed environments (financial services, healthcare, enterprise SaaS, etc.)
• Ability to translate complex technical and governance concepts into clear, executive-level communication

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience defining or implementing Responsible AI frameworks
• Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO, internal risk frameworks)
• Prior experience partnering with legal, compliance, and security stakeholders on AI initiatives
• Background in cloud-first or multi-cloud enterprise environments
• Strong documentation and storytelling skills for governance artifacts and roadmaps
