Job Description
Our client is seeking a Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) to support healthcare (bedded‑inpatient) facilities operations and maintenance at Fort Irwin, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing 24/7/365 operations, ensuring full compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, Environment of Care (EOC), Life Safety (LS) requirements, and all applicable federal codes and standards.
As committed in the Government proposal, the client is actively seeking a CMM with ASHE Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) credentials.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee 24/7/365 operations, maintenance, and repair of healthcare facility infrastructure systems
Supervise a diversified workforce supporting medical and/or commercial facility operations
Ensure full compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, including:
Environment of Care (EOC)
Life Safety (LS)
Maintenance and documentation standards
Manage and maintain DMLSS work requests, including all required testing, certification, and verification documentation (in‑house or subcontracted)
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards, including:
Performance Work Statement (PWS)
TJC
NFPA
EPA
OSHA
Support ongoing compliance audits, inspections, and government reporting requirements
Maintain documentation accuracy and readiness throughout the full contract term

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical/healthcare (bedded‑inpatient) facility operations and maintenance
Minimum 5 years of experience supervising maintenance operations for 24/7/365 facilities
Minimum 5 years of experience with The Joint Commission (TJC) compliance, including:
Maintenance documentation
EOC and Life Safety compliance
Demonstrated experience managing DMLSS work requests and supporting documentation
Strong working knowledge of PWS, TJC, NFPA, EPA, and OSHA codes and standards
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Experience in military, federal, or government healthcare facilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
