Role Summary
The Evergreen Safety Manager owns safety compliance, incident governance, and risk mitigation across NVIDIA’s Project Sweeping autonomous vehicle operations. This role ensures all field activities meet NVIDIA-defined safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements, with a focus on prevention, incident response, and continuous improvement across a multi-location AV program.
Responsibilities
-Develop, maintain, and enforce safety policies aligned with NVIDIA AV safety standards and regulatory requirements
-Monitor safety KPIs, incident trends, and near-miss data across all operating locations
-Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action plans
-Oversee driver qualification standards, defensive driving requirements, and safety training programs
-Partner with Driver Coordinators and field leadership to reinforce day-to-day safety adherence
-Provide safety reporting and insights for weekly operational reviews and -Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
-Identify systemic safety risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience in safety management within transportation, autonomous vehicles, logistics, or field-based operations
-Strong knowledge of safety governance frameworks, incident response, and corrective action management
-Experience supporting multi-location or mobile workforces
-Ability to analyze safety data and communicate trends and risks to leadership
-Experience operating in safety-critical, compliance-driven environments
