Technical Product Manager – SaaS Platform

Insight Global is partnering with a healthcare technology organization that is transforming clinical trials through digital technologies and an AI-first approach. The organization builds cloud-based SaaS products that support highly regulated clinical workflows, enabling faster research, improved access to treatment, and better health outcomes.
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager – SaaS Platform who enjoys solving complex, system-level problems and building scalable platform capabilities. This is a senior individual contributor role for a product manager who leads through influence, thrives in discovery, and partners deeply with engineering and design to deliver meaningful outcomes.
This is not a waterfall or project-management role. Product managers are accountable for delivering solutions that are:
• Valuable – customers choose to use and rely on them
• Viable – compliant with regulatory, security, and business constraints
• Usable – intuitive for clinical users and internal teams
Feasible – technically sound, scalable, and maintainable

• Lead product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for core SaaS platform capabilities that support scalable, secure, and compliant clinical applications
• Own platform-level functionality such as shared services, workflows, APIs, configuration frameworks, and extensibility patterns
• Drive product discovery by engaging users, stakeholders, engineering, and design to identify problems, validate solutions, and define outcomes
• Collaborate closely with engineering and design leads to understand cross-team dependencies and identify risks early
• Translate technical platform concepts and constraints into clear, actionable product requirements
• Balance short-term platform needs with long-term architectural vision to enable rapid product development without sacrificing quality
• Ensure platform capabilities support both human-facing applications and programmatic consumers, creating consistent and reliable experiences
• Partner with engineering on sequencing, trade-offs, and architectural decisions across distributed systems
• Incorporate platform requirements into validation, compliance, security, and audit documentation as required
• Advocate for end users while balancing technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and business priorities
• Influence teams and senior leaders through strong product thinking, data, and clear communication
Operate effectively in a regulated, high-compliance environment, embedding privacy, security, and reliability into platform decisions

Pay Ranges from $20-$25/hr

• 2+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of SaaS platform or infrastructure-adjacent products in a B2B environment

Needs to come from an engineering background!

Working experience with: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex

• Strong technical background with experience partnering closely with engineering on platform architecture and system design
• Proven experience building shared platform capabilities used by multiple product teams or applications
• Demonstrated success leading product discovery, not just execution or delivery
• Experience operating in regulated or high-compliance environments (healthcare or life sciences strongly preferred)
• Ability to manage complex dependencies across teams and systems
• Strong analytical skills, including defining success metrics related to platform adoption, reliability, performance, and scalability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leadership
Ecommerce-focused product backgrounds are not aligned with this role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
