Job Description

A well-known Government supporting company is seeking a Pricing Analyst to sit remotely to support various Space Force customers. This Pricing Analyst role supports Space Systems Command and focuses on pricing and evaluating large, high dollar DoD proposals, often $500M+ in size. The position handles cost and price analysis, develops Excel based pricing models, and prepares key documents like Price Negotiation Memorandums, clearance briefings, and evaluation write ups. The work spans both sole source and competitive efforts and covers areas such as profit and fee analysis, cost realism, parametric estimating, and performance based payments. You’ll manage multiple pricing efforts at once and work closely with SSC leadership and support teams to ensure accurate, compliant pricing.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience evaluating and/or writing Government Cost/Price Proposals
o Performing evaluations in accordance with the FAR / DFARS / DAFFARS
o Price, Cost, Value, Profit/Fee/Incentive, Make or Buy, Business Practice, Cost Realism Analysis
o Price negotiation memorandums, write ups, reports (sole source and competitive proposals)
o Government cost principles and pricing clauses
o Advanced proficiency in Excel and pricing tools
- Experience in a DoD or Federal Government contracting environment
- Active Secret Clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting Air Force or Space Force acquisition programs
- Background working on $100M+ / $500M+ proposals
- Audit support experience (e.g., DCAA interaction)
- Experience developing training materials or internal pricing guidance
- Process improvement or pricing methodology optimization experience
