Job Description

The HR Business Partner will support site leadership and employees by helping execute HR initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. This individual will serve as a key resource for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR processes, helping address employee concerns, and supporting programs that strengthen workforce effectiveness.

The role also involves working closely with specialized HR teams to help implement initiatives related to promotions, performance reviews, and other HR programs.

This is a part-time contract role (25–35 hours per week) with flexible scheduling.


Responsibilities:
• Partner with managers and leadership to support HR initiatives that drive employee engagement and performance
• Support the execution of performance review cycles and help managers navigate HR processes
• Serve as a point of contact for employees with HR-related questions
• Support employee relations matters including employee concerns and performance improvement plans
• Partner with HR teams to coordinate promotions, HR programs, and other people-related initiatives
• Help lead employee engagement initiatives and workplace improvement programs
• Analyze HR data and reporting to support leadership decision-making

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of human resources experience
• Experience in HR generalist or HR business partner roles
• Exposure to employee relations or performance management processes
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with HRIS systems such as Workday (or similar platforms)
• Strong Excel skills for reporting and data organization

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field
• Experience supporting California employment laws
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments
