Principal BSA/Solutions Lead

A large entertainment/healthcare client is looking for a Principal Systems Analyst/Solutions Lead/PM to join the Business Requirements Gathering Team. This individual will be supporting modernization projects across their pension plan system and compliance audit department in addition to supporting enhancements across all systems working heavily with development teams and the business & seamlessly bridging that gap. You will serve as the strategic bridge between executive stakeholders and delivery teams across core business systems. You will translate complex, evolving, and often ambiguous business needs into structured, testable, and executable requirements that drive measurable outcomes. You will partner with senior leaders to shape clarity from ambiguity, define success criteria, and convert business intent into project deliverables that technology, offshore teams, and QA can confidently execute.

This role requires strong executive presence, disciplined thinking, and the ability to operate within a regulated, governance-driven environment. This individual should also understand how web services work, how systems interact with each other, and able to make connections and understand service-oriented architecture. Gathering requirements and understanding the IT landscape, how to best leverage their current systems, and what solutions to put in place to improve the future. You will be the liasion between the dev teams and the business so seeing the big picture and justifying approaches they are taking is a big part. Working with various teams, data analysis, troubleshooting, working with development teams, and creating new solutions for the business, and creating detailed documentation from scratch, diagram artifacts, detailed workflows (user stories, process flow diagrams, traceability matrixes, etc.).

· 8–12+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
· 4+ years operating at a senior/lead level with executive-facing responsibilities.
· transactional system experience
· Big Four experience
· Technical documentation experience, technical workflows, user stories, highly detailed documentation
· Must have experience with large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
· Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, process flow diagrams, traceability matrixes, user stories with acceptance criteria
· Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
· Experience with APIs, web services, service-oriented architecture
· Bachelor’s degree
· Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business direction into executable requirements.

· Experience leading cross-functional workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.

· Experience working with offshore delivery teams.

· Strong documentation discipline and traceability mindset.
· Business case/justification development & solutioning experience
· Process flow modeling techniques and methods
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field as well as equivalent work experience

· Master's Degree
· Start up environment experience
