Day‑to‑Day
This role leads digital design efforts for a specific engineering or architectural discipline, ensuring that all modeling work aligns with project expectations and digital delivery standards. The Digital Design Lead serves as the primary owner of the discipline’s BIM model, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and coordination with other teams. The position blends hands‑on modeling, documentation production, and collaboration with cross‑functional groups to support high‑performance building projects. The work centers on producing well‑organized digital models, supporting design reviews, and ensuring that all outputs meet quality, schedule, and scope requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the discipline’s BIM model and create 3D elements according to project development levels and digital delivery guidelines
- Build, update, and maintain model content, system layouts, and discipline‑specific digital assets
- Produce drawings, diagrams, and documentation that reflect accurate design intent and meet project deadlines
- Ensure model accuracy by maintaining coordinates, scales, orientations, boundaries, and view/sheet organization
- Apply advanced knowledge of design standards to create clear, coordinated documentation
- Collaborate with other disciplines during design reviews and 3D coordination sessions to resolve conflicts
- Monitor model performance, uphold internal standards, and support continuous improvement of digital workflows
- Execute all digital delivery tasks required for the project

Required Skills & Experience
Must‑Haves
- Technical education or equivalent hands‑on experience in architectural, engineering, or digital design fields
- At least five years of experience working with BIM or 3D design workflows
Prior experience with Revit
- Advanced proficiency with modern 3D modeling software and digital design tools
- Strong capability with coordination platforms used for multi‑discipline model integration
- Solid understanding of architectural/engineering documentation standards and how design disciplines interact
- Familiarity with industry codes, specifications, and standard design practices
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital communication tool
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses
- Experience supporting large, multi‑discipline building projects
- Background working within structured digital delivery frameworks or model‑based delivery plans
- Prior involvement in model health reviews, quality checks, or standards development
- Exposure to data centers, commercial buildings, or other technology‑driven environments
