Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Architect/Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, production-ready data platforms. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, guiding teams in building high-quality, compliant data products that serve a broad set of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect and build scalable data services and APIs
• Lead design and code reviews across data engineering teams
• Mentor engineers on software and data engineering best practices
• Drive adoption of testing, CI/CD, and quality standards
• Partner with platform and application teams on integrations
• Ensure data systems meet security, reliability, and compliance standards

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data architecture
Extensive experience designing large-scale data systems
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Strong background in data engineering for data platforms
Experience leading architectural decisions and technical design
Hands-on experience building data products and services
Experience mentoring engineers and leading code reviews

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with healthcare or regulated data
Familiarity with real-time data and streaming architectures
Experience with self-service data platforms and governance tooling
