Job Description

A utility company is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join their team! The Compliance Analyst will play a critical role within the Supply Management Center of Excellence (COE), supporting regulatory, internal, and financial compliance activities for a regulated utility environment. This position is responsible for extracting, validating, and analyzing procurement and contract data from SAP and Ariba to support CPUC audits, internal audits, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
In addition to audit support, the Compliance Analyst will contribute to the development and standardization of supply management policies, procedures, and controls, and may assist with SOX testing, contract compliance reviews, and tactical contract support. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across Supply Management, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, and Compliance teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in compliance, audit support, supply chain, procurement, or similar role
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience working with SAP and/or Ariba
Experience supporting CPUC or other regulatory audits within a utility or highly regulated industry.
Familiarity with SOX controls and testing.
