Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced sourcing and procurement leader to drive non-traditional supply chain strategies in a high‑performance, innovation‑driven environment. This role will play a critical part in identifying, qualifying, and scaling new suppliers, materials, and manufacturing methods that materially improve cost, lead time, and product performance beyond traditional aerospace supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that reduce cost structure compared to traditional aerospace supply chains
• Shorten lead times through alternative and non‑traditional sourcing approaches
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify innovative materials and components that improve product strength, efficiency, or overall performance
• Introduce advanced manufacturing methods and alternative material sources that enable step‑change improvements in performance and scalability
• Build and maintain a diversified, resilient, and scalable supplier base
• Partner closely with Engineering and Quality teams to establish strong cross‑functional trust and alignment
Lead supplier relationships that evolve alongside the company’s growth, ensuring long‑term strategic partnerships rather than transactional engagements

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
• Demonstrated experience sourcing materials or components outside of traditional aerospace suppliers
• Background in high‑performance industries such as automotive, EV, robotics, advanced manufacturing, electronics, or industrial equipment
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with a proven track record of measurable cost reductions
• Experience qualifying new suppliers and building supply bases from the ground up
•Highly motivated individual who brings creative ideas and is comfortable challenging traditional approaches

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in a high‑growth, innovative, or disruptive company environment
• Exposure to advanced manufacturing, automotive, industrial tech, or other high‑performance sectors
• Familiarity with aerospace certification requirements and quality systems
• Experience supporting rapid new product introduction (NPI) cycles and scaling suppliers alongside product development
