The City of Oakland is seeking a part-time Power BI Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and publication of public-facing dashboards. This individual will work closely with the internal team—including Anita and Rodolfo—to build high-quality reporting tools aligned with departmental needs, especially around permits and public transparency.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards from concept to deployment.
Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data.
Ability to troubleshoot Power BI and data-related issues.
Experience developing dashboards for reporting and analytic purposes.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working with Accela or other permitting systems.
Familiarity with municipal processes or public-sector reporting.
Experience publishing dashboards to public websites or portals.
