Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager with strong full-lifecycle project delivery experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including clinical, operations, IT, and executive leadership. The Project Manager will focus on a large, multi-workstream Data Strategy Program, helping to evaluate current systems and make process improvement recommendations. This will feed into 12-15 actionable projects for improvement across the organization. Must be local to Southern California, with expectation come on site around twice a month. This is a long term contract with likely extensions, possibility for conversion. The Project Manager must have their PMP and a strong background in healthcare. They must have experience supporting technical projects and comfortable with technical terminology, responsible for requirements gathering, project scope, risks, managing progress, and more. They will be working lockstep with the Program Manager, and must be able to think on their feet with the ability to increase buy in from stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage full project lifecycle activities across IT, clinical, operational, and enterprise functions.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, support feature definition, assist in testing coordination, and act as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
• Engage confidently and professionally with senior leaders, clinicians, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support project prioritization, resource forecasting, and adjustments as new initiatives emerge.
• Manage daily project operations including schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, communication, and reporting.
• Contribute to cross-training within the PM team and support development of best practices.
• Work on a diverse portfolio including billing, IT system updates, software evaluations, clinical process improvement, and operational projects.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of full lifecycle Project Management experience
• PMP certification required
• Healthcare experience
• Experience supporting IT-related projects (software, systems, workflow, data, or integration-related)
• Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to engage with executives and leadership teams
• Excellent written communication, spelling, and articulation
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Experience with Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
• Ability to understand general technical concepts (requirements, features, testing)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive thinking
• Flexible, collaborative, and comfortable adapting to shifting priorities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with data governance, data modeling, EDI, or data-sharing initiatives
• Experience enhancing patient/participant experience via technology
• Experience supporting large multi-project programs with staggered timelines
• Experience with Visio for process mapping
