Job Description
A top Civil Engineering firm in the San Diego, CA area is looking for an Engineering Assistant to join the team. This would be an administrative role where the employee would get a ton of exposure into the Civil Engineering space.
The employee will help in assisting all of the Project Managers on site, communicate updates/request documents/pass along information with the City of San Diego, track civil engineering plan progress, and organize plans for the site. This person will also work directly with the President of the company and help out with coordination with Soils techs, engineers, and even work with the Social Media team. This candidate needs to have great inter-personal skills, be extremely organized, patient, and professional. The candidate does not need to have prior civil engineering experience, as they will be taught everything on the job.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of administrative working experience or a recent grad with a college degree
- Great interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with executive clients
- Extremely organized and a strong attention to detail
- Great professionalism and eager to learn a new role
- AEC exposure
- Exposure to AutoCAD (Drafting, etc)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Degree in a related field
- Exposure to civil engineering
