Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Architect to support a high‑visibility data migration initiative involving the transfer of approximately 6 million records from KRM to Salesforce. The ideal candidate is local to the DC metro area and comfortable commuting into the city once per week. This individual will lead the end‑to‑end data migration strategy, own key architectural deliverables, and execute multiple mock migrations within sandbox environments.
This role requires a strong background in Salesforce data architecture, hands‑on experience with large‑scale data migrations, and the ability to clearly articulate similar past use cases. Salesforce Data Architecture and technical certifications are highly preferred.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3+ years focused on data architecture or large-scale data migration.
- Demonstrated experience migrating datasets exceeding 1M+ records; experience with 6M+ record migration strongly preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with:
Salesforce Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, APIs
ETL/ELT tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, SSIS)
Sandbox management and multi-sandbox migration cycles
- Proven ability to architect and execute mock migrations, analyze results, and optimize repeatability.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, governance, and performance optimization.
- Ability to articulate prior project experience clearly and present migration strategies confidently to stakeholders.

Application Architect
Integration Architect
Platform App Builder
