Job Description
Our client in the live entertainment industry is seeking a proactive and collaborative Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both back-end and user interface testing, with a strong focus on automation and Agile methodologies. You will play a key role in assuring software quality for our entertainment platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automation test suites for regression, nightly, and release cycles, including UI and API testing.
Create and automate user interface test cases using Cypress and other modern frameworks.
Contribute to multiple projects, maintaining and improving existing test suites while developing new automated test cases.
Conduct functional, user acceptance, regression, and smoke testing to ensure product quality.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to escalate and resolve quality concerns.
Monitor bug resolution, test fixes, and support developers in troubleshooting from a QA perspective.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team processes.
Maintain documentation for test cases, procedures, and results.
Ensure best practices in version control using GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
Support continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
-4+ years of experience in QA
- Experience with Jest (specifically Super TEST within Jest)
- Exp with Jest - For End to End testing
- Engineering, including automation and manual testing.
-Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, SQL, and
-Experience with frameworks such as Cypress, Specflow, Playwright, and Postman.
- Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and API testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; proactive in cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Azure).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in the entertainment or streaming industry.
- Prior experience as a Scrum Master or leading Agile ceremonies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
