Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT Technician (Lab) to support one of our largest IT clients in the Bay Area. This person will: be the hands-on owner for lab systems supporting internal and OEM platforms, ensuring fast physical recovery, reliable flashing/imaging, bench/rack readiness, and smooth handoffs with stakeholder teams. The work focuses on maintaining system readiness to keep various co-validation, Selfhost and other internal and external software and hardware teams support.
This role can pay between $40-45/hour depending on years of experience and skillset.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years as a lab or system technician supporting PC/SoC or embedded platforms.
- Hands-on skill with imaging, BIOS/firmware flashing, and basic debug (console, boot media, cabling).
- Familiarity with lab operations, reservation systems, asset tracking, and safety practices.
- Strong communication and documentation discipline.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and mixed-environment validation workflows.
- Exposure to display/USB-C/PD/power bring-up workflows.
- Experience coordinating with hardware rework teams and managing RMA cycles.
