Job Description

Led by a team of Cloud Architects, the Cloud Infrastructure Systems Administrator will aid to support and evolve our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist with strong operating system expertise, deep automation experience, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and secure environments. You will work in a fast paced, collaborative environment across the content creation pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer and support AWS and Azure cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across all deployed services.
• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server infrastructures, including configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Automate deployment of desktop and server resources using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, to standardize and streamline provisioning.
• Build and update Virtual Desktop images and desired state configurations using tools such as Packer, Puppet, Ansible, Chocolatey, or comparable technologies.
• Maintain and version-control infrastructure and automation code using GitLab, GitHub, or similar repository platforms.
• Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, and related identity and directory services.
• Implement and manage vulnerability remediation and update automation using tools such as WSUS, SCCM, or Azure Update Manager.
• Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts—preferably using PowerShell—to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor system health and performance using enterprise system monitoring tools, ensuring proactive detection and resolution of issues.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to design and implement cloud and infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs.
• Document processes, standards, and best practices to support operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience administering AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
• Experience with image creation, configuration management, and desired state configuration tools (Packer, Puppet, Ansible, Chocolatey, etc.).
• Proficiency with Git-based repositories (GitLab, GitHub, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and related core infrastructure services.
• Experience with vulnerability management and update automation (WSUS, SCCM, Azure Update Manager).
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and orchestration.
• Experience with system monitoring platforms for proactive issue detection.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment alongside architects and cross-functional teams.
