Job Description
In this role, the Senior Project Manager leads large, complex UCPath and PeopleSoft initiatives from initiation through delivery, overseeing all phases of SDLC-driven work including requirements, development, testing, and deployment. They develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, and resource allocations, while coordinating cross‑functional activities across campus, medical center, and Office of the President stakeholders. The PM facilitates project team meetings and Sprints, drives accountability for deliverables, manages vendor interactions and system integration tasks, and ensures alignment with organizational strategies and governance standards. They provide clear, timely reporting to executive leadership, proactively escalate risks or issues, and synthesize complex analyses to determine project approaches, data needs, and evaluation methods—all while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years hands‑on experience as a lead Project Manager driving full lifecycle delivery.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high‑complexity projects simultaneously.
- Strong experience leading SDLC‑driven initiatives.
- Ability to create comprehensive project plans and manage scope, risks, budgets, and timelines.
- Clear and confident executive‑level communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, anticipate obstacles, and plan contingencies.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse technical and functional teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- PMP certification.
- Experience managing projects in the higher education domain.
