Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Production Assembler for their aerospace client who specializes in composite components. This position is on-site in Los Alamitos, CA, working first shift from 6 am- 1:30 pm.
The Production Assembler will perform a range of routine assembly operations of small parts or components, under well-defined instructions and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. This individual uses light-powered electrical or mechanical tools, including hand tools, in the construction of subassemblies. Works with the assembly team to sandblast parts with minimal effort, fit and align, and/or adjust parts to meet specifications and requirements. Some prep of composite parts for the paint department is necessary.

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma
Good manual dexterity is required to work with small parts
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Skilled at routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations
Able to be on-site in Los Alamitos - working 1st shift - 5 am - 1:30 pm
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Composite experience – working in laminating carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other composite materials
