Python Developer – INTL India

One of Insight Global’s customers in looking to onboard a Python Developer in India with strong cloud infrastructure experience to support data intensive integration and streaming initiatives. You’ll start by contributing to a Managed File Transfer (MFT) product (Python focused) and then expand into event driven work with Kafka, plus targeted integrations across ServiceNow and Salesforce Health Cloud on the data streaming side. This role suits a self starter who is comfortable working independently while collaborating across time zones. You will build and enhance features for an MFT product using Python (high code quality, testing, and observability) design implement, and maintain cloud native services and infrastructure (primarily AWS) to support data movement and streaming workloads, and gradually take on Kafka projects—develop producers/consumers, connectors, schemas, and monitoring for reliable, scalable pipelines. This is a 3-month rolling contract and remote opportunity working in India.

5+ years of professional experience in Python (advanced proficiency; beyond “average” development).
Strong Cloud Infrastructure experience (ideally AWS: IAM, EC2/ECS/EKS, S3, networking, monitoring).
Hands on with at least one of: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or other NoSQL databases.
Depth in Python + Cloud Infra design patterns, testing, CI/CD, and production support.
Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate in a distributed team.

Kafka (or other event driven architecture platforms): topics, partitions, consumer groups, connectors, schema management, ops.
Multi cloud exposure (e.g., AWS + Azure/GCP).
Familiarity with Java for Kafka or integration code where applicable.
