Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Litigation Legal Secretary - Trust & Estates to join, one of San Diego’s oldest and most prestigious law firms, to provide high-level support to attorneys and their paralegals in our Trust & Estates practice groups.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals in the areas of Trust and Estates

Manage complex calendars, schedule consultations, depositions, and client meetings

Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, documents, agreements, and discovery responses

Draft correspondence, engagement letters, conflict waivers, and assist with new matter openings

Coordinate and process filings in State and Federal courts, including electronic filing and service

Prepare exhibit binders, trial/hearing materials, and maintain organized case files (electronic and physical)

Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and vendors

Track certified mailings, overnight deliveries, and manage document flow

Process invoices, check requests, and schedule conference rooms

Collaborate closely with paralegals to ensure smooth case management and workflow

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of litigation experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements:

-At least Five years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in the areas of Trust & Estates , extensive civil law experience will be acceptable

-Experience processing invoices, check requests, and schedule conference rooms

-Experience tracking certified mailings, overnight deliveries, and manage document flow

-Experience supporting 2-3 Attorneys

-Probate Experience is highly preferred

-Experience preparing exhibit binders, trial/hearing materials, and maintain organized case files (electronic and physical)

-Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, DocuSign, and document management systems

-Must be able to stay late during trials
