Job Description

The IPQC Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring product integrity throughout the manufacturing and assembly process. This position focuses on in-process quality control (IPQC), conducting inspections at key stages of production to verify compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations.
The inspector will:
• Monitor assembly operations for server hardware and electronic components, identifying deviations early to prevent defects and reduce rework.
• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections using precision tools and measurement techniques.
• Validate adherence to IPC standards, ESD handling protocols, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to address quality issues, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and generate reports using Microsoft Excel to support continuous improvement and yield optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required, vocational training or technical diploma in mechanical or electronics field preferred.
• 1-2 years of in-process or final quality inspection, preferably in electronics or server hardware manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Hands-on experience inspecting server racks or electronic subassemblies preferred.
• Knowledge of ESD handling and safety compliance as well as IPC standards.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
