Job Description

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack QA Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our full stack applications through comprehensive testing strategies and automation frameworks. Knowledge of cloud migration projects, particularly Azure Cloud to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Desktop, web, API, and backend components.
· Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product owners to define clear quality objectives and test strategies.
· Develop, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
· Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across the application stack.
· Validate data integrity, system functionality, and interoperability across environments.
· Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality gates in tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
· Identify and document defects clearly in tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and verify fixes through re-testing.
· Work within an Agile/Scrum framework to continuously improve quality and delivery timelines.
· Provide inputs for improving product scalability, usability, and performance.
· (Added Advantage) Participate in testing activities related to cloud migration or hybrid cloud deployments, especially Azure to GCP transitions.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Automation Testing.
· Strong experience in full stack testing — frontend (UI), backend (API), and database validation.
· Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, WinApp Driver.
· Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
· Good understanding of programming/scripting languages like C# & Python
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based repositories, and Agile development practices.
· Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases for data validation and backend testing.
· Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Added Advantage
· Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
· Understanding of cloud migration processes, especially Azure-to-GCP transitions.
· Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
· Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, K6).
· Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
