Job Description

Hiring a Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Health non-profit clinic in Los Angeles, CA 90036

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM PST

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, the Registered Nurse will provide culturally competent medical health services to low-income individuals in Los Angeles County, with a specific focus on the LGBT community.

The Registered Nurse will assure quality and cost-effective care for clinic patients, and will manage a patient’s course of treatment, and coordinate care with providers and other clinical support staff to ensure quality patient care.

Required Skills & Experience

California Registered Nurse (RN) license

Outpatient RN background in either urgent care, primary care, non profits, ambulatory health care clinics

Experience with HIV testing, STD testing and phlebotomy.

BLS Cert

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in a non-profit, FQHC Healthcare setting is preferred

Experience with HIV patients

Eclinical works preferred
