Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Desktop, Service, and Embedded Power BI.
- Implement robust data models with calculated columns, measures, and relationships to support business KPIs and time intelligence.
- Manage deployment processes to Power BI Service workspaces, including scheduling refreshes and configuring access management.
- Develop and optimize data solutions leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics, including schema design, indexing, and distribution strategies.
- Build and orchestrate ETL pipelines using Azure Synapse Pipelines/Azure Data Factory for efficient data integration and transformation.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ yrs of experience with Power BI (Desktop, Service, Embedded), including DirectQuery and Import modes.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling principles and implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics (star/snowflake schema, column store indexing, distribution methods, partitioning).
- Proficiency in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, including hierarchical folder structures and Parquet file optimization.
- Proven ability to design fault-tolerant ETL pipelines with error handling, logging, and integration with monitoring tools.
