Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee complex logistics operations for large-scale projects involving heavy capital equipment and sensitive installations. This role requires hands-on involvement in planning, coordinating, and executing transportation and onsite support for major equipment deliveries. This will be a 1 year project kicking off in January 2026, with potential to convert to an FTE role within or after the contract period.

• Manage end-to-end logistics for projects involving medical devices/NPI and heavy capital equipment (e.g., large refrigeration units, heavy wooden crates).
• Coordinate with 3PL providers, carriers, and onsite teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Oversee transportation, shipment scheduling, and onsite installation support.
• Ensure compliance with nondisclosure agreements and project milestones.
• Provide tactical day-to-day delivery support and onsite presence at customer locations.
• Collaborate with warehouse managers and transportation providers; ability to work on-site and “roll up sleeves” when needed.
• Document milestones and maintain clear reporting for quarterly program completions.
• Handle sensitive, white-glove transport for large, heavy equipment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of leadership experience within logistics management. Proven experience in:
o Heavy equipment movement and installation.
o Working with hospitals (preferred).
o Managing 3PL operations and onsite customer interactions.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) across the U.S., including weekends.
• Comfortable with high coordination, clarifications, and follow-ups.
• Hands-on experience in warehouse environments and transportation planning.
