Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Welder for a large space systems company in Long Beach, CA. This person will be responsible for following procedures to set up and operate our welding systems, weld assemblies according to work orders, blueprints and verbal instructions. and following blueprints and meet product specifications within tight tolerances. This position is on-site in Long Beach, CA 5 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience in welding with a Certification
Proficient in various welding techniques, including manual GTAW(TIG), OTW (Orbital Tube Welding), Laser Welding, Lathe Welding.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Shipbuilding, or Construction.
Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO, D17.1).
Experience welding on .011 - .250.
Certifications in specialized welding processes (TIG / Brazing process).
Certification for specific materials (e.g., Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium, and Inconel)
Experience with welding on different materials such as Inconel, Monel, Stainless 300-400 series.
Experience working with 3D printed parts and exotic alloys.
Experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
Experience with Deburring and using pencil grinders.
Capable of doing welding fit ups.
Capable of supporting the grinding department.
