We are seeking a seasoned Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Supplier Engineering team. This role is ideal for a quality-driven professional with deep expertise in supplier quality systems, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will champion quality initiatives within the Supplier Engineering team, driving supplier performance and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Key responsibilities include partnering with the team to promote quality-focused process improvements, collaborating with suppliers to resolve issues, and implementing effective corrective actions.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a regulated medical device environment (FDA QSR/ISO 13485)
• ASQ Certification in one or more: CQE, SQE, or CQM
• Proficiency in Six Sigma, SPC, TQM, and Lean methodologies
• Strong background in root cause investigations (RCI), CAPA, and NCMR management
• Skilled in quality tools (Pareto, cause and effect, scatter plots, histograms) and QM planning tools (tree diagrams, PDC, matrix, interrelationship diagrams)
• Experience working with external suppliers, part qualifications, and technical writing
• Strong knowledge of machining (aluminum, steel, acetal) and plastic injection molding
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T drawings
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and suppliers
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience using SolidWorks CAD
• Exposure to supplier auditing, risk-based qualification, and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Experience working on a Supplier Engineering team, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
